This natural Ethiopian Welo opal changes considerably as it moves. Some angles show broad green and blue flashes while others reveal warmer orange and red accents.

The classic pear outline and rounded dome give the stone a graceful profile and help its color appear from multiple viewing angles. It is suited to a custom pendant, ring, wire-wrapped design, or gemstone collection.

The original supplier represented the stone as untreated; it has not been independently laboratory tested or certified. Opal is delicate and should be protected from impact, prolonged heat, harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and steam.
